# memory

> Reference for the memory tool of Nabcloud: what your AI has learned, kept in the workspace, with every action.

Source: https://nabcloud.geenius.io/docs/reference/memory/

What your AI learns is kept in the workspace, not in a chat. It can note, search, read, confirm, contradict and forget, so a new chat or a different AI picks up where the last one stopped.

Call it as `geenius_os(tool: "memory", action: "<action>", args: {...})` through Nabcloud.

## Actions

| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| `note` | Record one thing learned, with how it was learned. |
| `search` | What has been learned: yours, your projects' and your workspaces'. |
| `read` | One memory in full. |
| `confirm` | You hit the same thing: vouch for it. |
| `contradict` | It is no longer true: say what is. |
| `forget` | Delete your own memory (or, as an admin, a shared one). |

> [!TIP]
> Ask for the exact arguments of any action with `action: "help", of: "note"`. The server answers from its own definitions, so that answer is always current.
