# Audit trail

Each step is recorded: what was done, when, and who approved it.

The trail is **append-only**. It covers one workspace: seats and roles, agents and their keys, secret grants, billing, deletions and deployments.

- **Filter** by actor, area, action, target, dates and a search text.
- **History** of one item.
- **Export** the same filters as CSV, up to 5,000 rows.
- **Retention** from 30 to 3,650 days, set by owners and admins.

## Why it matters

When a client asks what happened and when, the answer is on record.
