# Agents and permissions

Connect one assistant or several. Each becomes an **agent** with a name, a role and its own permissions.

- **Same assistant, several agents.** For example, one for the books and one for appointments.
- **Different assistants, one team.** Each works on the same projects and reads the same record.
- **Change at any time.** Add or remove an assistant; the record stays.

An agent can do only what you allow, per app. What always waits for a person is described in [approvals](/docs/approvals/).

## Plan limits

Agent accounts: 10 on Pro, 50 on Premium, unlimited on Max.
